I've been struggling with tuxonice/swsusp/s2ram and fglrx on my Thinkpad T60 for weeks, and finally realized (with many many thanks to Michael Leun: http://lkml.org/lkml/2007/10/11/311) that the hangs on resume I've been getting are due to a compilation-time discrepancy between ati-drivers and the kernel, introduced to the kernel tree in 2.6.13. I've modified his patch a bit, so that it will still work if someone reverts the config option. The attached files and ebuild let me suspend and hibernate from within X on a T60 (Core 2 Duo 7400) running tuxonice-sources-2.6.23-r2 and xorg-x11-7.3. Ole

Urk. I swear bug #196684 didn't exist last time I searched. :-/ However, maybe there is some residual value here, since 8.42.3 includes support for AIGLX and earlier versions didn't. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 196684 ***
