media-libs/libprojectm-1.01-r1 (/usr/lib/libprojectM.so.1.0.0)

This came to my attention after a revdep-rebuild flagged that library (in lib64 due to the symlink), but couldn't find the package that provided it, as it looked at the lib64 path. (I took out FEATURES=multilib-strict after I switched to the no-multilib profile. Looks like I shouldn't have, or it likely would have flagged that on emerge. It's back in features now. =8^)

bah, I'm being overwhelmed by cmake files..
Comment 2 Krzysztof Pawlik (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-11-11 18:49:36 UTC
Try to use cmake-utils.eclass - it should install the library in proper location.

Doesn't work, -DLIB_SUFFIX used by it seems kde -specific and doesn't work for this package.

I've added

sed -e "s#/lib/pkgconfig#/$(get_libdir)/pkgconfig#" \
    -e "s#DESTINATION lib#DESTINATION $(get_libdir)#" \
    -i CMakeLists.txt
