Description Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-09-04 18:31:56 UTC
We need prokyon3-0.9.6 stable since it supports >= flac-1.1.3 which is going stable, when all rdeps are stabilized first.

Thanks.

x86 stable
Comment 2 Angelo Arrifano (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-09-22 18:36:23 UTC
media-sound/prokyon3-0.9.6 USE="flac mp3 musicbrainz taglib vorbis"

- Emerges on AMD64
- Runs OK.
  * Some minor problems when inserting data on the DB with special chars on filenames.
  * GUI stops responding after database creation or gives this error:
> prokyon3: Fatal IO error: client killed

Although, database is created and could be used in the next startup.

And what about current stable? If it's not a regression it shouldn't be stopping this bug.

Yes.. The current stable has the same problem.
Also, I found that this problem only occurs when there is a previously created database user.

drac, I think you should go with it. :)
