Upgrading iptables today yields into this situation:

n22 ~ # /sbin/iptables -t filter -A INPUT --in-interface ppp0 -m recent
--update --seconds 60 --name ppp0 -j DROP
iptables v1.3.8: Couldn't load match `recent':/lib/iptables/libipt_recent.so:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I do have compiled the module:
