Description:   Opened: 2007-08-27 16:03 0000 
avahi fails to emerge. it dies with a message about checking for python module
gtk... no. 
I have re-emerged everything python related in my world list and run
python-updater. It still fails with this error

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge avahi
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
Checking for python extension module directory...
${exec_prefix}/lib/python2.5/site-packages
checking for python module gtk... no
configure: error: Could not find Python module gtk

Expected Results:  
successful emerge
