Hey, dev-python/pygtkglext doesn't have any stable versions for many arches. gnome-extra/gnome-games uses pygtkglext, so I would like to request if stabilization of dev-python/pygtkglext-1.1.0 on all the supported platforms would be OK. This appears to be another prerequisite for stabling GNOME-2.18. If it's fine, then we can either stabilize it based on this bug and CC'ed arch teams, or I can be told to just include it in my big package list for GNOME-2.18 with your permission. Thanks for your consideration
Oh and HPPA doesn't have a stable x11-libs/gtkglext either, but they can just stabilize that before pygtkglext with my permission (gnome maintained) - version 1.2.0.
stable on amd32*2
Hi, I think this error is due to the "stabilisation": # emerge -Dupvl world These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating world dependencies |!!! Digest verification failed: !!! /usr/portage/dev-python/pygtkglext/pygtkglext-1.1.0.ebuild !!! Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size !!! Got: 966 !!! Expected: 965 / The 1 byte difference is due to keyword change I think but the digest wasn't calculated after the change !? Thanks to tell me if I need to open a new bug report or/and correct this in the portage tree.
arm stable, and manifest fixed in same hit.
By permission of dev-zero from the Python herd, I'd like to invite the other arch teams to stabilise this. It's a dependency for the Gnome stabilisation (and implicitly for KDE's, expat-2.0.1's and curl's) so please, please be quick! :-)
