PyQt-4.3 is out, and supports Qt-4.3. Version 4.3 requires SIP-4.7 (see bug 187585). I had to make a couple changes to the PyQt4-4.2 ebuild to get 4.3 to install properly, see attached. One note: sipQtGuiAbstractButton.cpp took a long time to compile on my machine (~amd64, gcc-4.2.0), but it did compile. Reproducible: Always

committed new version - thanks for the report.
Why didnt you use the ebuild I submitted? The one in portage installs into the wrong directory (see bug 188287), I mentioned the additional changes when I opened the bug.
Sorry, I was working remotely and didn't have a way to copy your file to that computer, so I was going off of just trying to read what changed between your ebuild and the one already in portage. Just missed it. Should be fixed now.
