Jason would like to join Gentoo to primarily help out the ftp herd as we're vastly understaffed.

Hopefully we'll get him into Gentoo/FreeBSD at a later date :)

What you need to do (as in I can't do  that for you):
- subscribe to mailing lists with @gentoo.org address
- send yourself mail to create your .mail directory
- add yourself to mail aliases (like [e-mail], [e-mail])
  see /var/mail/alias on dev.gentoo.org
- set lat and lon attributes in LDAP if you want others to know where
  exactly you are located (see http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/infrastructure/ldap.xml for further reference)

Jason is a candidate for recruiters. Retirement on hold for a few weeks.

It's September. I know for sure that Jason hasn't joined Recruiters. It's also been over 8 months since his last Gentoo commit. This amount of contributions doesn't justify Jason having developer status.
