Ebuilds of media-gfx/gimp require use of the older gimp-print 4 package when using the "gimpprint" use flag. However, gimp-print has ended with version 4, and overtaken by GutenPrint as of version 5 (same project, new name and new code). Testing requires removal of "gimpprint" from the use flags in order not to downgrade the code (and thereby print quality). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Emerge gimp with gutenprint (ebuild in gimp-print version 5.0 or above) installed. Actual Results: Gimp ebuild demands gimp-print 4 to be installed, downgrading from Gutenprint. Expected Results: Gimp should not require the downgrade -- it should of taken it up natively. http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net has details on the change-over.
