Description barthek 2007-07-13 09:26:41 UTC
sysklogd's cron script is kind of broken because of the 'killall' program from the psmisc-22.5-r1.

the cron script expects killall to be found in /bin although the latest psmisc puts it in /usr/bin/killall

the fix is obvious: replace /bin/killall with /usr/bin/killall in /etc/cron.daily/syslog.cron

logrotate-3.7.1-manpage-fixes.patch is broken is well by this (and logrotate-3.7.2 default manpage)

No, the correct fix is to stop hardcoding silly paths. Fixed in -r2.

Comment 3 barthek 2007-07-13 10:48:49 UTC
i guess another solution would be to stop shifting things all around the system...

That's a very bad solution. Respect your $PATH
