Ali will join us to help out with netmon bugs and also has some python talents to give. 
He did a good job on sunrise for quite some time now and also provided nice patches and hints in the past.

What you need to do:
- subscribe to mailing lists with @gentoo.org address
- request forum status bump from from amne or tomk (if you have a forums
  account)
- send yourself mail to create .maildir
- add yourself to mail aliases ( like java@gentoo.org )
  see /var/mail/alias on dev.gentoo.org
- ask team leads to add yourself to herds.xml for the herds you want to
  join or do it yourself if you have the permission to do so
