Description:   Opened: 2007-05-07 17:43 0000
Hello,

After openssl-0.9.8e installation yesterday my netqmail 1.05-r4 stopped
accepting TLS connections with the following error:

@40000000463f5ef50315a664 delivery 18760:
deferral:TLS_connect_failed:_error:14077410:SSL_routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:sslv3_alert_handshake_failure;_conne
c ted_to_<IP_ADDR>

I have Googled a little and found the solution here:
http://www.thegillis.net/content/view/41/31/

This seems to be a bug in netqmail, which is fixed with the following patch:
patch: http://www.thegillis.net/examples/qmail/netqmail-fix.patch

I have fixed it manually here (using ebuild command), and now I think someone
more experienced in ebuilds should add it to main tree, to support patch until
upstreams are fixed this?

Alex
