Description Rostyslav Smirnov 2007-05-01 22:46:58 UTC
I'm using Control Center's Keyboard Layout module to manage keyboard layouts. It worked fine just 2 weeks ago. Now, when I start some program, it gets stuck with layout that was active at time of launch, and if I want to switch to another layout, I have to exit the program (or kill it if it resides in memory like Konqueror), select the new layout and start it again. Switching the layout while program is running has absolutely no effect.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start some editor and type something.
2. Switch layout and type some more.
Actual Results:
Only the original layout was active.

Expected Results:
New layout should've been activated instead.

KDE release 3.5.5
