There have been many changes since version 6.81. See the official website for more details.
@ikelos: I'm retired, please reassign (my guess would be graphics).
Version 6.91 has now been released. See http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/history.html for more release information.
Re-assigning to graphics herd. Graphics people: will anyone from the herd pick this up? I'm using this tool occasionally and might be able to maintain it. Just let me know what your preference is.

I've now bumped exiftool to 6.90 because that is considered the production release by upstream, so I'd like that to make my next stable target. Once 6.90 has been in the tree for a few weeks I'll bump to the most recent development version. I'll leave this bug open until then.
note 6.93 is now out as of July 6, 2007
I am aware that exiftool 6.93 is out, but I won't do any bumps until the end of July. That should give exiftool 6.90 enough exposure so that it can be stabilized at a later date, since that is the production release as defined by upstream. If you must have 6.93 now then you can copy the current ebuild into an overlay and try it out. I'd be happy to get feedback on that.
exiftool 6.94 is now in CVS.
