The current stable version is 20050121-r10. Time for one of the newer ones to go stable. Quite a few bugs open on this so I am not sure if there are regressions. At the same time, please migrate bash-completion to use elog instead of einfo.
Yeah, there're still some regressions I'm working out and some general bug fixes I'd like to get done. I'll migrate to elog when I do the version bump.
As asked by Petteri Räty here : http://planet.gentoo.org/developers/betelgeuse/2008/10/23/challenge_to_all_users I have this package in my package.keywords because stable version will soon be... 4 years old! Please, at least stabilize the "only 2 years and an half" version. Thanks
AFAIK there are no regressions reported on 20060301. We could stabilize 20060301 and unmask 20060301-r3.

20060301-r3 installs cleanly here on x86. Configuration via 'eselect' works as expected. Default completion for gentoo_bashcomp gets installed and activated. As far as I can see completions works as expected (with a minor hassle on 'gcc-config <TAB>'). Other completions from the bash-completion still needs testing here. eselect-completion works on one computer but fails on another as described in bug #218557.
Thomas, 20060301-r3 is not going to be stabilized. Arch teams could stabilize 20060301 if they think it's stable. Otherwise, we'll wait to stabilize 20081218 or a later version.
Ok. Thanks for info. Thoughed -r3 was unmasked to prepare stabilisation. So I will have a look into the other ones.
this version works as far as I can tell. amd64 stable.
x86 stable
Stable on alpha (20060301).
Stable for HPPA.
Marked ppc/ppc64 stable.
Rest of arches: You can tag along with 20081218-r1 in the next few days here.
