Bugzilla Bug 168827

Although I already successfully installed kdelibs-3.5.6-r2 within the past day,
I wanted to recompile it with the utempter flag enabled. But this time it would
not work! It comes up with a number of errors while compiling the
libkdesvgicons component. I turned off the utempter flag and the result is the
same, so clearly this is not the problem.

I strongly suspect that this is related to the bug resolved on my machine
earlier tonight: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=168823 Although
personally I have no understanding of the cause of that bug, Zac Medico
indicated in his reply that it I "might encounter additional issues" due to the
/var/db/pkg/*/*/COUNTER corruption. Considering also that I successfully
compiled kdelibs-3.5-6-r2 very recently with the same flags, there seems to be
a likely connection (though I may be wrong).

I have the same problem. It seemed that there is some problem with new version
of libart_lgpl. I don't have time to downgrade it and to test with old version,
may be few day later.

Downgrading libart_lgpl from 2.3.19 to 2.3.17 worked around the problem.
