The new 'secure' version of lha does not properly support LHarc archives. This breaks (among other things) games-fps/quake1-demodata, which fails with:

LHa: Error: Checksum error (LHarc file?)

lha-1.14i-17 from a Red Hat EL 4 system is able to properly unpack the archive.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install app-arch/lha-114i-r6
2. Attempt to install games-fps/quake1-demodata-1.06
3. Failure

Actual Results:  
Unable to unpack archive

Expected Results:  
Archive successfully unpacked
