Description Brandon Low (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-03-03 01:46:07 UTC
<lostlogic> About the install doc I have one thing I'd like to mention: before
1.4, we need to make sure that it is noted that xfs-sources = liveCD sources,
and we need to make available through a link the liveCD kernel config to MAKE
SURE that users can get up and running. It should then be mentioned that for
those who's hardware is supported in the gentoo-sources, there are performance
benefits to using the gentoo-sources. I will work with livewire
<lostlogic> to make a side by side comparison of hardware support differences
between the two kernels.

Isn't this resolved recently? The LiveCD kernelconfig is available, although I don't know if we still use xfs-sources for the LiveCD.
