When installing app-text/xhtml1-20020801-r3.ebuild, SGML catalog entries are added, but no XML catalog entries, and no XML catalog (or subcatalog) file. This makes it impossible to use the local copy of the XHTML 1.0 DTDs for XML software like xmllint or xsltproc (without additional manual overrides). By default, XML software will try to fetch the necessary DTDs etc. via the network, which needs time and bandwith.

The problem was already mentioned in bug 92020 comment 0.

Details on the necessary catalog entries and an example XML (sub)catalog are available at <URL:http://xmlsoft.org/guidelines.html>.

Please add the installation of an XML subcatalog and the necessary XML catalog entries to the XHTML 1.0 ebuild.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. xhtml1-20020801-r4 now installs the necessary XML entries in the catalog.
