Description:   Opened: 2006-12-11 01:07 0000
AbiWord always crash on exiting, the previous version didn't.
According to the 2.4.6 changelog this bug have been fixed.

Maybe it's time for a new ebuild ?

I can confirm this bug is fixed in 2.4.6

that make me think how was that possible for 2.4.5 version to be marked stable
on all arch ? Nobody is using AbiWord ? Or maybe everyone using it was too lazy
to report the bug ^^

Applied patches from debian to resolve this issue.  Try out -r1 please.
