the dbdesigner ebuild (which is currently masked unstable) requires the package kylixlibs3-borqt to be installed, but does not check this.

... and if the package kylixlibs3-borqt is installed, dbdesigner startup woud fail until you place a symlink of /opt/kylix3/libborqt-6.9-qt2.3.so into /usr/lib
