Description Ron 2003-02-11 19:19:19 UTC
From the web-site:

"Tux Paint" is a drawing program for young children. It has a simple interface
and fixed canvas size, and provides access to previous images using a thumbnail
browser (e.g., no access to the underlying filesystem).

Unlike popular drawing programs like "The GIMP," it has a very limited toolset.
However, it provides a much simpler interface, and has entertaining,
child-oriented additions such as sound effects.

Stamps for Tuxpaint
Comment 5 Ron 2003-02-12 16:28:00 UTC
Oops Please ignore the second tuxpaint ebuild - it has a fatal flaw (ie. it doesn't work)

Replaced the nasty ls loops with nice find loops - the ls loops were broken if
ls was aliased for colour :o

Finally, fixed the data install path
Comment 8 Mike Gardiner (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-08-19 06:28:59 UTC
okay, thanks for your report. ill just point out things with the ebuild script.

# $Header: $ needs to be fixed
S=${WORKDIR}/${P} is redundant
KEYWORDS should be ~ for _only_ the archs you've tested on.
There is no LICENSE "GPL" check the COPYING doc
in src_compile( ) use emake || die

is there really no easier way to install the locales ? and data/etc. it just seems very verbose that's all.
Comment 9 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-21 15:28:56 UTC
hmm the ebuild should be deflated more. Does it need to be done this ugly
way ? Even a loop would be better.
Comment 10 Leonardo Boshell (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-31 06:07:10 UTC
There's an ebuild for tuxpaint-0.9.12 in Portage now. I've tested it extensively,
except for the KDE bits, which should work fine, nonetheless. I've received
help in that regard from a user who uses KDE and tested the ebuild, so everything
should be OK now.

Thanks for your help.
