I don't see how this is a dupe. Sure, unmask the new one. But the old one should depend on a specific glibc version either way...

No, it shouldn't. You can't downgrade glibc anyway...

In which case, it should error due to unmeetable dependencies. It certainly shouldn't continue on to error during the build.

No, bug 151612 is about getting a newer version into stable.
This bug is about checking dependencies properly.

Go re-read Comment #3; you can't downgrade glibc. 

Now if you have nothing useful to add, then there's no need to comment further on this bug, thanks again. Meanwhile, use 11.2.1.
