Where as on a different system the same command :

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!
[ebuild   R   ] dev-lang/erlang-10.2.5  USE="ssl -X -doc -emacs -java -odbc" 0 kB

Total size of downloads: 0 kB

Works fine :

>>> Regenerating /etc/ld.so.cache...
>>> Original instance of package unmerged safely.
>>> Regenerating /etc/ld.so.cache...
>>> dev-lang/erlang-10.2.5 merged.
>>> Recording dev-lang/erlang in "world" favorites file...

>>> No packages selected for removal by clean.

>>> Auto-cleaning packages...

>>> No outdated packages were found on your system.

 * GNU info directory index is up-to-date.

The emerge --info from the other system is attached.

Please help me to identify the problem.

With thanks,

Warren.
