Installed DBDesigner4 (emerge dbdesigner) ... went well, wanted to start the program with startdbd, but this appeared in the ~/.DBDesigner4/DBD4.log:

libXft.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I only have libXft.so.2.1.2 isntalled ... old build?

I think, this is a duplicate of bug #123769
