Hi,

works for months here. No bugs for at least 30 days, no action in the Changelog.

Regards
Sebastian

Knowing the trouble that xiph libraries gives me every time a new bump or a stable is asked, I'd rather not stable this until it's really needed by something (as in, a known fixed bug, or a software needing it).

Hi Diego,

if there's a new release I'd like to use it in time. Saying that you don't want to go further because you _fear_ breakage isn't a valid argument, because after all Gentoo has the 30-day-to-stable policy. So if noone stepped forward and reported a bug that would cause delay this should go stable as any other ebuild in the tree.

Sorry, but your point makes no sense to me.

Regards
Sebastian

Stabilizing ebuilds is _solely_ at maintainers' discretion, unless there's a security bug. If maintainer doesn't want to stabilize it, it won't be stabilized. The policy talks about something completely different - the ebuild requires _at least_ 30 days in testing to be eligible for stabilization (except for security bugs).

WONTFIX.
