jboss failed to start (see attached file for lovely java stack trace errors) looked about on the jboss forums for this problem and came across this post http://www.jboss.org/?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=51617 downloaded the updated .jar file and replaced on my system and jboss is now up and running cd $JBOSS_HOME wget http://umn.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/jboss/jboss-common-jdbc-wrapper-bug988031.jar mv jboss-common-jdbc-wrapper.jar jboss-common-jdbc-wrapper.old mv jboss-common-jdbc-wrapper-bug988031.jar jboss-common-jdbc-wrapper.jar probably not the best way to fix this... but at least i've getten it up and running :)

Closing bug. Removed from tree, till we get a maintainer and current version from source.
