From my perspective this is just another ebuild (3rd or 4th) that is breaking while upgrading to gcc 4.x and 2006.1 with 'emerge -ev world'. If possible suggest instructions on gentoo web site re how to restart 'emerge -ev world' half way through after 'emerge -C'ing a problem package. Problem being I end up restarting the world recompile from scratch after it crashes out after 24 hours of recompiling the world and roughly half way through the full world list of packages.
