With the release of dev-libs/openssl-0.9.8b into ~amd64 app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-baselibs needs an update. Currently the following libs depend on dev-libs/openssl-0.9.7j /emul/linux/x86/usr/lib/libcups.so.2 /emul/linux/x86/usr/lib/libldap-2.2.so.7.0.21 /emul/linux/x86/usr/lib/libldap_r-2.2.so.7.0.21 /emul/linux/x86/usr/lib/libldap_r.so.2.0.130 /emul/linux/x86/usr/lib/libldap.so.2.0.130
As long as it's not even stable there is no chance getting this into an emul package.
Now we have stable openssl-0.9.8, can this bug be reopened?
Good idea...
Actually, 2.5.2 contains openssl-0.9.8c because lower versions of it were vulnerable. So this is fixed already :)
(In reply to comment #4) > Actually, 2.5.2 contains openssl-0.9.8c because lower versions of it were > vulnerable. So this is fixed already :) But other libraries in this package *link* against old openssl (check using revdep-rebuild).
Reopening, it's broken. :)
I can confirm the bug. app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-baselibs should be rebuilt against the latest openssl lib.
AMD64 people, herbs and kugelfang seems to be currently away, please act as herd s in their absence.

app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-baselibs should be rebuilt against the latest zlib because in the lib not contain the gzdirect function. Sorry for my english.
