Description Florian Steinel 2006-08-06 13:52:27 UTC
- slib
  (2.4.3 to 3.1.2 aka. 3a2)
  (3a3 is broken http://bugzilla.gnome.org/347922 and
   https://bugzilla.novell.com/112942 )
  remove -x86 and add ~x86
rm -rf /usr/share/guile/1.6/slibcat (belongs to no ebuild)
  fix change ebuild to:
doins guile.init
remove package.mask and in <=gnucash-1.8.x add depency to <=slib-2.4

- guile
  (1.6.7 to 1.6.8 )
  1.6.8 includes gcc-4.x fix

- g-wrap
 (1.34-r1 to 1.9.6)
 Change Homepage: http://www.nongnu.org/g-wrap/

- glib
  in gnucash depend on <=glib-2.9
gnucash configure is broken with >=glib-2.9

Should i add these ebuilds here or file seperate bugs with depencies on this one?

Why not allow the widest range of versions to satisfy the dependencies?

For what it's worth, I have been running 2.0.1 without any problems for several days now.

Put the following lines into package.keywords:
~x11-libs/goffice-0.2.1
~dev-perl/Finance-Quote-1.11
~app-office/gnucash-2.0.1

Copy
  /usr/portage/app-office/gnucash/gnucash-2.0.0.ebuild
to
  /usr/local/portage/app-office/gnucash/gnucash-2.0.1.ebuild

Then in /usr/local/portage/app-office/gnucash/, run the command
  ebuild gnucash-2.0.1.ebuild digest

After that, the emerge ran fine and the resulting executable seems OK. No dependency changes were required.

On a stable amd64 system, you can copy the 2.0.0-r1 ebuild.. and you need to remove the --disable-deprecated-* configure flags, otherwise it doesnt build against stable gtk+..
The it works, except that the tests fail

in portage, people, enjoy.

F. Steinel -- can you file separate bugs for the others? Feel free to assign to me directly. (or drop me a mail with bug #'s if you're unable to).
