alsa-lib-1.0.12_rc1 was added for ~x86 recently. When starting applications using /usr/lib/libasound.so.2, I recieve a segmentation fault. Same error here. It causes just about any app that uses alsa-lib to crash- xine, mplayer, ffmpeg, amarok... Downgrading to the previous version restores normality.
