Given the problems with previous versions, and the fact that it seems to build well (the patches don't apply, yet to test extensively), I think it is worth to note a new release candidate available.
Copied nant-0.85_rc3.ebuild to nant-0.85_rc4.ebuild, removed the 3 epatch lines as the rc2 patches were counterindicated and the patches for mono-1.1.7 compatibility are included already. Merged cleanly and built boo and ikvm, not sure how really test ikvm, but booish and monodevelop seem ok. Silliness with seamonkey, mozilla, and epiphany. Should be able to use any of the gecko browsers. For some reason need to set MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME=/usr/lib/seamonkey before starting monodevelop.
David: /usr/bin/monodevelop is actually a shell script. If you add export MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME=/usr/lib/seamonkey somewhere near the top of the script, it will deal with that problem for you, since the gecko-sharp maintainer is being an ass. I'm going to try this method you suggest.
Fantastic, works perfectly. Great to finally be able to have boo support in mono. Would be nice to see this in the portage tree.
Created attachment 96325 [details] dev-dotnet/nant this ebuild have as dependency dev-dotnet/log4net, that do not exists into portage; i have made a new ebuild for it: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=146752
The final NAnt 0.85 is out too!
