Hi,

This is an ebuild which builds perl bindings for OpenFTS. OpenFTS (Open Source Full Text Search engine) is an advanced PostgreSQL-based search engine that provides online indexing of data and relevance ranking for database searching. Close integration with database allows use of metadata to restrict search results.

It also provides a --config to setup a fully functioning sample database which builds all the necessary indices.

Last CVS commit on April 5, 2005. Last tarball moved to "Files" section also in 2005. Project is apparently dead.
