Description Lubos Dolezel 2006-05-24 10:02:57 UTC
I am unable to emerge any app-office/openoffice. All of them fail probably because of my LINGUAS (set to "cs").

The (very long) "regcomp -register -br..." command fails (see the attached log). When I run it "by hand" I get this error:

InvalidRegistryException: Couldn't create registry file:///var/tmp/portage/openoffice-2.0.2-r2/work/ooo-build-2.0.2.11/build/OOO_2_0_2/instsetoo_native/util/OpenOffice/services.rdb/cs_inprogress_1/services.rdb for writing

The problem is obvious, the directory "/var/tmp/portage/openoffice-2.0.2-r2/work/ooo-build-2.0.2.11/build/OOO_2_0_2/instsetoo_native/util/OpenOffice/services.rdb/cs_inprogress_1" doesn't exist...

The final error looks like this:

***************************************************************
ERROR: Could not register all components!
in function: create_services_rdb
***************************************************************

The last openoffice version that worked fine was 2.0.1.

Comment 2 Lubos Dolezel 2006-05-24 10:07:22 UTC
Eh, I was wrong. The installer has removed the directory afterwards.

The real error (when I recreate needed dirs) is probably this

error (RuntimeException): python-loader:exceptions.ImportError: No module named pythonloader, traceback follows
no traceback available

Post your emerge --info. Also, I don't think this has anything to do w/ LINGUAS="cs".
Comment 4 Lubos Dolezel 2006-05-24 10:47:12 UTC
Yeah, I thought it is because of LINGUAS until I saw that the "cs_inprogress_1" directory really did exist.

My emerge --info:

Another one of the regcomp-problems, try to reduce your CFLAGS and see if that helps
