The last version of gkrellm in portage has a problem with plugins : it won't
load them due to undefined symbols. Here is the log from my gkrellm2 as an
example

/usr/lib64/gkrellm2/plugins/gkrellxmms2.so

FWIW, a build from the source obtained here
http://members.dslextreme.com/users/billw/gkrellm/gkrellm.html works perfectly
