Attached is a new ebuild for the MAME frontend kxmame. More info about it can be found here: http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=28270

I've tested this on my AMD64 system and it works very well. It should work on other ARCHs that KDE runs on though I don't have systems to test those.
