Description Sandy McArthur 2006-04-18 05:54:13 UTC
emerging net-misc/openssh-4.3_p2-r1 on April 18th tried to add the following two lines to my sshd_config:

LpkServers  ldap://10.7.33.13 ldap://127.0.0.3 ldap://127.0.0.1/
LpkUserDN   ou=People,dc=infis.univ.trieste,dc=it

Those seem to be someone's personal settings from the openssh-lpk-4.3p1-0.3.7.patch file.

It's one thing to have a commented examples in sshd_config but I don't think it's right to have those settings live.

That's a problem in the patch that's applied. Contacted maintainer, expect
a fix very soon.

The patch and it's MD5 don't seem to match:

>>> checksums src_uri ;-) openssh-4.3p2.tar.gz

!!! Digest verification Failed:
!!!    /usr/portage/distfiles/openssh-lpk-4.3p1-0.3.7.patch

wait for the mirrors to be updated, the digest should be correct now but mirrors
are lagging in getting updated.

Comment 9 Andrea Barisani (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-21 02:36:38 UTC
same here, please remove your existing openssh files in /usr/portage/distfiles, emerge sync and then re-install. It should be all fixed.

closing the bug, re-open if necessary.

It is still failing with the error message reported in Bug 139296.

A digest solves it.

doesn't fail here, from which mirror did you get the patch?
