The startscript /usr/bin/startdbd sets the $app_ld_path to /opt/DBDesigner4/Linuxlib

the file exists, don't know why DBDesigner doens't recognise it :(
Question: This Programm is linked against these specific lib versions to be on the safe side if qt or some other prog is updated, right?


The error message:

Connection to database failed
unable to load libmysqlclient.so
