Description ChazeFroy 2006-04-02 16:34:48 UTC
This is a major upgrade for Pan and represents the first release in more than two years.

Pan 0.90 is the first beta of a rewrite of Pan in C++ that adds multiserver and nzb support, reduces memory use by over 66%, cuts the time to download new headers over 66%, and slashes the time it takes to load headers from disk by almost 90%.

Ebuild for Pan 0.90

This ebuild did not build Pan on another system, so I have made a new ebuild and patch to fix it.

If I remove the patch from the 0.90 ebuild it seems to build 0.91 OK.
Comment 8 Sven Wegener gentoo-dev 2006-04-09 10:21:04 UTC
0.92 is in CVS, p.mask'ed.
Comment 9 Thomas Stein 2006-04-11 07:54:42 UTC
Hello.

Pan-0.92 does not compile on both of my amd64 machines. At one point where it compiles "scorefile.so" or so my hole memory gets used and sometimes my machine reboots.
