Post non-mangled relevant snip of your ~/.Xdefaults if the above is just some weird typo, otherwise I'd suggest to fix it before filing bugs...

I've just discovered this post: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-444128-highlight-xterm.html The problem is not related to older Versions of xterm.

Other people seem to have the same problem: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-466273-highlight-xterm.html Perhaps the problem is related to gcc (4.1.x).
