Since I updated to modular X I get this message:
xterm: Cannot allocate color ;GuD$G1

Since I updated to modular X I get this message:
xterm: Cannot allocate color ;GuD$G1ÀTº                                       éU
Tterm: Cannot allocate color j

The xterm has no colors.
TERM is set to xterm-256color

My RGB Path is set to:
RgbPath	"/usr/share/X11/rgb"
in /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Reproducible: Always
Steps to reproduce:
1. Start xterm from any Terminal

Portage 2.1_pre6-r6 (default-linux/x86/2006.0, gcc-4.1.0, glibc-2.4-r1, 2.6.16 i686)

Uhm? No wonder, such color name doesn't exist. Post non-mangled relevant snip of your ~/.Xdefaults if the above is just some weird typo, otherwise I'd suggest to fix it before filing bugs...

My Xdefaults:
XTerm*termName: xterm-256color

Problem is not gone. Other people seem to have the same problem:

Perhaps the problem is related to gcc (4.1.x).

Use something else than -Os in your C[XX]FLAGS.
