yes you are right... i'll ask arches to mark stable 0.2.1 version

Arches please mark stable app-cdr/dvdrtools-0.2.1

PS: ppc64 add ~arch keywords in your case.
Comment 3 Markus Rothe (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-02-23 13:29:18 UTC
added ~ppc64
Comment 4 Saleem Abdulrasool (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-02-27 16:43:51 UTC
Unable to make cd with 0.2.1 ... please advise
Comment 5 Luis Medinas (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-03-01 08:04:47 UTC
that version should work good what problems do you have ?
Comment 6 Saleem Abdulrasool (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-03-03 20:08:26 UTC
It seems to just hang and never burn (I let it sit about 6 hours).
Comment 7 Drake Wyrm 2006-04-20 13:49:08 UTC
My recent experiences with dvdrecord:

With versions dvdrtools-0.2.1 and dvdrtools-0.3.1, I am unable to perform an ATAPI scanbus. I get the following error:

Cdrecord 1.11a15 (i686-pc-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2001 J

I can burn CDs and DVDs without a problem, using the new syntax `dvdrecord -dev=/dev/hdc file.iso`. Hope this helps.
Comment 9 Joshua Jackson (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-21 19:37:12 UTC
Wasn't able to reproduce the hang and the disk I burned worked fine. So its been marked stable on x86. *shrug* (X_X)
Comment 10 Luis Medinas (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-22 07:54:53 UTC

Comment 11 Markus Rothe (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-22 08:43:27 UTC

Comment 12 Jon Mason 2006-04-23 09:51:19 UTC
dvdrtools-0.2.1 unmasked, problem solved. Thanks
Comment 13 Luis Medinas (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-23 10:02:31 UTC
Don't Close the bug again when a arch needs to stablize.

Comment 14 Joe Jezak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-30 17:04:08 UTC
Works on ppc, marked ppc stable and closing the bug since we're the last arch.
