the livecd should also have support for isdn users. 
 
this would include: 
-isdn kernel support 
-isdn4k-utils (currently depend on x, but there is a new ebuild in bug #9578)

This should be fixed in the "121700" and later experimental livecds. (I'm 
uploading 122100 now) Give it a whirl -- it should work. Post results 
(good/bad) here. Thanks :)
