Description Robert Wohlrab 2006-01-18 10:50:51 UTC
New ati-drivers are out. I will add the patchset later (maybe not until weekend).
Comment 1 Robert Wohlrab 2006-01-18 10:52:46 UTC
Ok, I am not able to change the bug to Luca Barbato. Sry, for that.
Comment 2 Robert Wohlrab 2006-01-18 11:23:06 UTC
OK, nearly nothing changed in fglrx_panel_sources. You can use the old patch, but fglrx_pp_proto.h isnt missing anymore.

If anyone besides myself has looked this will not work. you have hardcoded the x86 arch patch which will be incorrect on amd64. I will get with lu_zero just as soon as possible to get this bumped.

This is far from complete I still have to work out the issues in src_install . This will help lead some of you all in right directions until I finish tho.

Comment 10 Jory A. Pratt 2006-01-21 13:17:05 UTC
Luca has added ebuild I have added the patch for 2.6.15 support, along with a minor addition for libfglrxdrm.so.

ati-drivers-8.21.7-linux-2.6.15.patch and ati-drivers-extra is missing
Comment 12 Jory A. Pratt 2006-01-21 14:08:48 UTC
patch is in the tree and extra's should be a new bug.
Comment 13 Robert Wohlrab 2006-01-21 14:14:38 UTC
http://www.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/x11-drivers/ati-drivers/files/ati-drivers-8.21.8-linux-2.6.15.patch <-- the cvs says me something different at the moment (portage says the same...a big fat error)

and i always did a mixed ati-drivers and ati-drivers-extra bug. Ok, next time I will open a bug for every kde application which needs to be added...
Comment 14 Robert Wohlrab 2006-01-21 14:15:20 UTC
Ok, it is now there
