Description:   Opened: 2005-12-12 06:14 0000 
The mail-notification-2.0 ebuild in portage needs to define that
mail-notification  is compiled with LDFLAGS=-Wl,--export-dynamic.

Otherwise when trying to start mail-notification --display-properties will
result with the following error:

mail-notification-CRITICAL **: signal handler
"mn_properties_dialog_remove_clicked_h" not found
aborting...

I couldn't reproduce this myself, but it's in CVS nonetheless because it
doesn't seem to harm anything, and I believe you :)
