Hello, the f-spot-0.1.3-r1-ebuild has obviously a lack of a dbus-dependency. I have an almost full stable system installed and at configuring f-spot i get this message: ---8<--- checking whether the i686-pc-linux-gnu-g77 linker (/usr/i686-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld) supports shared libraries... yes checking dynamic linker characteristics... Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you installed software in a non-standard prefix. Alternatively you may set the F_CFLAGS and F_LIBS environment variables to avoid the need to call pkg-config. See the pkg-config man page for more details. --- END--- After installing the newest x86~-dbus with "mono"-UseFlag the f-spot-ebuild (and f-spot itself) works perfectly. Thanks for sharing it. I haven't a clue where you got the ebuild for this but the Gentopia ebuild does detect this properly and will notify you.
