please bump
Comment 1 Gabriel Devenyi 2005-10-25 17:51:18 UTC
also, the developer's website mentions that gentoo has it available on its
mirrors, but the ebuild has a "nomirror" setting in it. Aditionally, the
developer does not appear to request email regarding successful installations.

Also, I don't see this in portage at all.
Comment 3 Gabriel Devenyi 2005-10-26 05:24:37 UTC
God I can't spell
Comment 4 Gabriel Devenyi 2005-12-14 19:21:44 UTC
We're a full major version behind now... 0.8.2 is out
Comment 5 Urriellu 2006-01-30 08:06:24 UTC
0.8.4 is out. I reused pikdev-0.7.1-r2.ebuild but removing applied patches in the old version and it works for me

Note: ewarns at the end of the ebuild can be omited as pikdev removes old configs by itself

pikdev-0.9.1.ebuild

This is a modified pikdev-0.7.1-r2.ebuild for the latest pikdev version. I have also added ~amd64 to keywords. I can't try to program here, but the app compiles fine here on my amd64 box and seams to work.

Two months have passed but the ebuild still isn't in portage.. Is the 7.1 ebuild maintainer aware of the existance of the new ebuild? I supose he has cvs access..

PS: I'm beggining to hate this.. Gentoo is allways several steps behind when it comes to "minority" software.. I'm growing a list of software installed by hand. When it reaches some point I will definitely leave gentoo and build my own system from hand. Until then I'm pulling my hair out..

We are all volunteers. If you would like to help out you could volunteer to become a developer :)

BUMP!

Can this please be put into portage? I can't see any difficulty on just commiting this to cvs..
