while trying to emerge mpage 2.5.3 I ran into the following problem

Make mpage-2.5.4 compile with gcc4.


Had the same problem (with mpage-2.5.4 on x86). It seems to be an gcc4 issue. After applying the attached patch it works for me (cf. http://dev.gentoo.org/~vanquirius/gcc4-porting-guide.html). Perhaps someone with deeper insight could look this over.
