Description Geoffrey King 2005-10-09 15:39:26 UTC
After setting WIPE_TMP="yes" in /etc/conf.d/bootmisc, I discovered
that .ICE-unix is not created.

This happens, because the directory is only created if WIPE_TMP="no" in
/etc/conf.d/bootmisc. A possible workaround is to setup /tmp as mounted tmpfs
and set WIPE_TMP="no".

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set WIPE_TMP="yes"
2. reboot
3. start KDM
4. Try to start XFCE
Actual Results:
XFCE fails to start and I am returned to the KDM login screen.

Expected Results:
XFCE should of setup my usual session
