Description julviala 2005-10-02 00:21:42 UTC
I couldn't find anything related in bugzilla and my post remained unanswered in
the forums.

My problem is simple : when my computer boots with WIPE_TMP
(/etc/conf.d/bootmisc) set to yes, kdm starts correctly but then, when I log in,
the session blocks while initializing the devices (third icon).
And finally the session dies: I am back with kdm.

I have tried several user accounts.

I have synced and updated very recently (yesterday in fact) and I use the latest
profile...
I haven't found any log to help find out the problem.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Set WIPE_TMP to yes in /etc/conf.d/bootmisc
2.Reboot
3.Log in kdm for a KDE session

Actual Results:
The session initialization stops at the third icon (devices) and then crashes :
kdm is displayed again.

Expected Results:
The session should initialize normally.
