Description Christian Reiser 2005-09-05 01:57:49 UTC
I assume this error is due to my last update to isdn4k-utils-3.7_pre20050626. I
have no longer installed a ipppd on my system. It is still included in the
distfile /usr/portage/distfiles/isdn4k-utils-CVS-2005-06-26.tar.bz2 (i built it
manually to get into the net) so i assume, ipppd should also be within
net-dialup/isdn4k-utils.

Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge net-dialup/isdn4k-utils

Actual Results:
no ipppd
find / -name ipppd returns only:
/lib/rcscripts/net.modules.d/ipppd

Expected Results:
I need an ipppd to get my Internet up and running ;-)

Comment 1 Stefan Briesenick (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-09-05 02:34:57 UTC
this is strange! Please try to re-emerge isdn4k-utils or test latest
isdn4k-utils-3.7_pre20050821 (still ~arch).

Comment 2 Torsten Veller (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-09-05 03:29:01 UTC
use the ipppd useflag
Comment 3 Stefan Briesenick (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-09-05 03:57:37 UTC
yup, this flag was new in isdn4k-utils-3.7_pre20050626.

Comment 4 Stefan Briesenick (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-09-05 04:02:46 UTC
ok, I tested isdn4k-utils-3.7_pre20050626 using 'ipppd' use-flag. And ipppd is
built and installed after. So I guess, you just forgot to set the 'ipppd'
use-flag.
